LGL Networks is building a regional contractor bench of field engineers who can land at a venue, deploy a standardized segmented network behind the venue circuit, pass acceptance testing before go-live, and operate it through teardown. You bring event-grade networking instinct; we bring the configs, the pods, and the accountability.
The work
This is field engineering for live events: portable, segmented networks for registration, payments, production, streaming, and staff operations — deployed fast, tested rigorously, and operated by one accountable operator that stands behind the network and transport it runs. Not a help desk, not commodity Wi-Fi.
You won’t be improvising a design on site. You’ll be executing a documented segmentation standard from pre-labeled deployment pods, validating it against an acceptance test, and standing behind it as part of the single accountable operator your client hired.
You don't need to have done it at our exact venues — but you need real reps with networks that have to work the first time, in front of a live audience.

You understand VLANs, isolation, and why payment, production, registration, attendee, contractor, and management traffic must live in separate zones — and you can verify that segmentation actually holds.
Clean cable runs, structured drops, switch configuration, and RF discipline. You wire payments, registration, encoders, and production first, and treat wireless as a deliberate, planned layer — not a default.
You can stand up dual-WAN where the venue permits, configure an approved single underlay with defined failover where it doesn’t, and prove the cutover lands inside its target window before go-live.
When something breaks at peak, you triage methodically, communicate clearly, and resolve it without drama. You’re the steady hand the onsite team and the client want in the room.
You follow standardized configs and runbooks, complete the pre-opening acceptance checklist honestly, and document what you did so the post-event report and the next deployment are better for it.

We match you to events in your region. You receive the site record, the design, and the pre-labeled pod — so you arrive knowing the demarc, pathways, and plan.
Set up, wire and segment the critical paths, bring up WAN and failover, then run the pre-opening acceptance test to verify it all holds before go-live.
Monitor with the NOC, respond to incidents onsite, then tear down and file your notes so the post-event report and the next deployment are tighter.
