LGL Networks is building a regional contractor bench of field engineers who can land at a venue, deploy a standardized segmented network behind the venue circuit, pass acceptance testing before go-live, and operate it through teardown. You bring event-grade networking instinct; we bring the configs, the pods, and the accountability.
The work
Go-live happens at a fixed time. The network has to be right before it does.
This is field engineering for live events: portable, segmented networks for registration, payments, production, streaming, and staff operations — deployed fast, tested rigorously, and operated by one accountable operator that stands behind the network and transport it runs. Not a help desk, not commodity Wi-Fi.
You won’t be improvising a design on site. You’ll be executing a documented segmentation standard from pre-labeled deployment pods, validating it against an acceptance test, and standing behind it as part of the single accountable operator your client hired.
What we look for
You don't need to have done it at our exact venues — but you need real reps with networks that have to work the first time, in front of a live audience.
Segmentation fluency
You understand VLANs, isolation, and why payment, production, registration, attendee, contractor, and management traffic must live in separate zones — and you can verify that segmentation actually holds.
Wired-first infrastructure skills
Clean cable runs, structured drops, switch configuration, and RF discipline. You wire payments, registration, encoders, and production first, and treat wireless as a deliberate, planned layer — not a default.
Resilience & failover instincts
You can stand up dual-WAN where the venue permits, configure an approved single underlay with defined failover where it doesn’t, and prove the cutover lands inside its target window before go-live.
Calm under go-live pressure
When something breaks at peak, you triage methodically, communicate clearly, and resolve it without drama. You’re the steady hand the onsite team and the client want in the room.
Discipline with runbooks & docs
You follow standardized configs and runbooks, complete the pre-opening acceptance checklist honestly, and document what you did so the post-event report and the next deployment are better for it.
Nice to have: familiarity with data-responsibility and segmentation boundaries at the transport layer, experience with carrier circuit handoffs (fiber/DIA, bonded cellular, LEO), and a track record on multi-event corporate runs. LGL operates at the transport layer and never stores or processes cardholder or attendee data.

Onboard to the standard
We walk you through the documented segmentation standard, the deployment-pod layout, the runbooks, and the acceptance-test procedure so every job runs the LGL way.
Get dispatched to a date
We match you to events in your region. You receive the site record, the design, and the pre-labeled pod — so you arrive knowing the demarc, pathways, and plan.
Deploy & acceptance-test
Set up, wire and segment the critical paths, bring up WAN and failover, then run the pre-opening acceptance test to verify it all holds before go-live.
Operate & document through teardown
Monitor with the NOC, respond to incidents onsite, then tear down and file your notes so the post-event report and the next deployment are tighter.

The contractor network grows with demand. We’re establishing regional hubs aligned to our anchor partners’ event calendars — so the same trusted engineers cover the same regions, dates compound, and travel stays efficient.
Early bench members help shape the standard and earn first call as their region scales from one-off references into repeat and multi-event work.

Is this employment or contract work?
The bench is a contractor network — per-event engagements dispatched by region. As anchor-partner demand and the regional hubs mature, the most reliable bench members get first call on repeat and multi-event work.
Do I design the network myself on site?
No. You execute LGL's documented segmentation standard from pre-labeled deployment pods and runbooks, then validate it against the pre-opening acceptance test. Standardization is the point — it's what lets us be the accountable operator at any venue.
Which regions are you hiring for?
We're staffing toward regional hubs aligned to anchor-partner demand — locations follow where our anchor partners' event calendars take us. Tell us where you're based; we build each region around demand.
